The name says it all! The space is beautiful and well laid out, with no detail left unnoticed. The staff were super knowledgable about each item, offering their recommendations and favorites. We ordered bread to start, two pastas and a pizza: Italian carb heaven. The dishes were well-portioned, and each bite was full of delectable flavors. What's nice about the pizza is that you get a pair of scissors, allowing you to easily slice the pie exactly how you want. The gelato was the biggest portion I've ever been served - we couldn't eat it all, even between the three of us. It was quite delicious, and something we'll definitely be ordering again. Looking forward to coming back!

Our current favorite special occasion spot in downtown Detroit! The vibes are on point, whether it's date night or a get together with fam & friends. The service is always great, and the food is always fantastic. I love the cocktails. My current favorite meal is the bucatini cacio e pepe. Every pizza I've tried has been fire. The entrees are good but to be honest the pizza & pasta are where it's at. And the desserts are great, especially the chocolate cake.

Great food and service. We loved the California ambience feel. We will be going back again for sure.

The service and drinks that our party ordered were fabulous . Good house music Maya was our server and the manager gave us champagne since we had to wait 30minutes beyond our reservation for a table. Food was fantastic as well, favorite was the pasta dish with corn and cucumber salad . Vanilla Gelato out of this world Parking can be tough on a Sat night and valet is $15, bit steep.

Elegant with a modern twist ambience here in Detroit. The pizza was nice thin crust, crispy bottom. Got 3 different pizzas and all were great. Shrooms, margarita, and sausage and olives. Entree menu looked good as well but definitely came here for the pizza. Amazing drink menu with many different cocktails to choose from.

I absolutely loved this place. Perfect for date night or Galentine's night like I did with my best friend! When you walk in the decor is so beautiful. It has soft pink colors all over, flowers, a beautiful bar and seating. I could not get over how pretty it was inside. It was really clean and smelled great too. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was so nice, funny and helpful! We were able to joke around with her and she was very attentive. I wish I could remember her name now, we had such a fun time! The best part was the food. I was skeptical because sometimes these new places with great aesthetics don't have the best food but I was surprised! Everything we had was delicious. The drinks were so good I had a second one. The steak tartare was fresh and full of flavor. The kimchi ravioli was such a unique flavor profile and textures. The pizza was perfect! Not too much sauce and the perfect amount of cheese. I think we had the mushroom one. And we had the ceviche I believe, the fish was fresh and it was such powerful herb citrusy taste. For dessert we had the fried donuts with this chocolate sauce on the side that was the perfect balance or sweet and bitter. You have to try this place for dinner! I can't wait to go back.

Best food ever. The food, service, and ambience is amazing. I absolutely love Italian food and this was the best that I have ever had. The second that you walk inside, it is shocking. You are greeted by the amazing waiters and waitresses with a great welcome. I respect that if you eat there, you need to dress nice. It is a fancy restaurant and if people dress bad and are lazy it will appear that it isn't a nice restaurant. My family is friends with the head chef, Miles, and he is so extremely nice. He always has something kind to say and so does every other staff member. The food speaks for itself. It is perfect in every way and I have no words. The interior design is amazing with flowers everywhere and the light pink paint makes it a 10/10. If you go there I recommend the margarita pizza.

I went in thinking this place wasn't going to be great and was just for looks. I was surprised everything was amazing! Service was a little slow but not too bad. Had the little gem salad, rigatoni and the guanciale pizza. I would recommend all

Decor, Decor, Decor!!! The restaurant is so beautiful and brings LA to Detroit :) I'm from California and my friend is from Detroit so it was perfect for us! My friend and I ordered the Shrooms Pizza, Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, Broccoli, Afternoon Seaside, and 59' Biarritz. The food and drinks were wonderful! I was impressed with the Shrooms Pizza and Broccoli because the flavors and textures were perfect. Also, they provide scissors to cut the pizza which is a cute touch. The drinks were fresh and balanced. Also, I like that herbs are added to contribute to the flavor and aroma. Even though I loved the ambiance and food, the service can be improved. The hosts were nice and welcoming, however, the waitress was missing most of the time. We had to ask other servers for assistance and our waitress did not check on us to refill water or other requests. Overall, I recommend Mad Nice because the food is delicious and the decor is gorgeous!

Mad Nice was well ... mad nice! Right when you walk in, you are definitely hit with the upscale, trendy caliber this restaurant holds. From the decor, the serving staff outfits, to the changing lights, even down to the interior doors - they've got the package! Very Instagram-able if you will. The music adds a nice touch making Mad Nice a great place to start your adventures in the Detroit areas. Now for the food - Mad Nice has a established Italian/Detroit-esc style. You can really feel what they were going for with the pizza (I got the sausage & olives). It is a little pricey with some things hitting and some missing the make for me. Below are the dishes I would highlight: - broccoli (BEST BITE OF THE NIGHT) - pizza (I'm sure any is great with that dough) - gelato (some of the best I've ever had) - POTATO FRITTO (such a unique texture that leaves you going back for more) - ZEPPOLI (their take on a donut. Suggestion: make an ice cream sandwich with the gelato and these little rascals) I would come again if I was invited to meet some buddies. I'm craving to try some of the homemade pasta!!
